San Mig Light: Not So Light

I don't drink.
mmm...ok! I used to not.
I called myself then an occassional drinker.

And San Mig Light is not really "light", another "used to" that I have just discovered myself a false.

How was I fooled?
I used to help myself a bottle every now an then because I thought it has less alcohol than any other alcoholic drinks.
And then I liked it and wanted more of it.

I dropped by a convenience store one night just to discover that it has the same amount of alcohol as the other beers that I thought as hard. 5%vol. Even lighter than the red and white wine with 11-15%vol. that I thought were decent.

OK. The "light" that San Mig Light refers to is the amount of carb. The way Coke Light, Pepsi Light, etc., used of the word "light".

So much of a crap but now I am no longer just an "occassional drinker". More maybe. I don't know...But I recognize the confidence this alcoholic drink gives me...
